Looking at running Dolphin on this spec:

Intel 3570k
EVGA 550ti 2gb gpu
16gb ddr3 1600mhz

Will be wanting to play N64 Golden eye, Wii Mario Kart... Will it be enough to run these games at a decent frame rate on a 65" oled tv?

Thank you

I used to have similar but weaker specs (same GPU, i5-2500K, but only 4GB of RAM), and I used to run most games very comfortably in Dolphin. Both GoldenEye and MK Wii were never an issue. The GPU is old, but it can handle almost any game at 1080p. Only trouble I ever did have was trying to run Xenoblade Chronicles at that resolution; I could only do 720p and keep a full 30FPS on the NTSC version.

Generally, Dolphin requires more CPU power than anything, and with the 3570K you can just overclock until you get your desired performance.

Thanks mate!  Think im building abit abit of a powerhouse at the minute that's gonna be way too much for an emulator but at least it'll give me headroom to run other things.

I'll check back if i run into issues.
