Sound skipping in Wind Waker and Metroid Prime

Question
Hi,

I experience sound skipping for a fraction of a second, every few seconds. It doesn't occur often, but often enough to be really distracting. I experienced the same in Project64, and I heard that cheap on-board sound can be the reason. So I got a new sound card, and my problems in Project 64 went away. However, the problem remained in Dolphin.

The funny thing is, this doesn't occur in all games. It occurs in Wind Waker and Metroid Prime, but The Twilight Princess works perfectly. (All US versions)

I have played around with most of the audio settings I think, but I'm open to all suggestions to resolve this issue.

I'm using Dolphin 3.0-204-dirty on Windows XP SP3, using a i7 860 and a HD5770. To my knowledge, all my drivers are up to date.

I appreciate any comments!

Greetings,
eggdropfan

Oh, I forgot to mention: Both my OS and the Dolphin version I use are 32 bit.

Have you tried turning audio throttle off?

And also change the Framelinit under video config to Auto.

Nope, but here's a thing I forgot to mention: I'm forced to use HLE audio, instead of the recommended LLE for WW. When I use LLE I get only around 75% speed in the opening scene (the one where you play, the intro runs OK except for the sound cackles).

Which is strange, because my box can run the graphically much more intensive Twilight Princess just fine. Is that perhaps the problem?
Edit: When I wrote "Nope" in my previous post, I meant that I tried it, but it didn't help.
