I'm running Dolphin emulator 3.0 (because my computer won't cooperate with later versions) and I'm having issues with the audio, primarily background music. The graphics run as fine as they can, but the audio itself is just... slow. The music is just playing slowly, like a record on a turntable that isn't moving fast enough. It really sucks because I want to be able to use Dolphin to record some Let's Plays. Is there anything I can do with the settings to fix the audio? Thanks in advance.

My system info:
http://prntscr.com/ap16w5
http://prntscr.com/ap1748

And before saying anything about my memory amount, the audio has been this way since when I had over 100 gigs free and graphics are running fine and always have been.

My settings (as they are currently):

http://prntscr.com/ap17zz
http://prntscr.com/ap183p
http://prntscr.com/ap18fn
http://prntscr.com/ap18lu

We don't support old stable releases.

Upgrade to either 4.0.2 (Not recommended, very old), or the latest development release. (Recommended)

Why won't it? We can't help you unless you use a minimum of 4.0.2 (latest would be best)

You're still not telling us what the problem with the new versions is.

Pretend I do figure out how to get a later version to work. will it have the progress I've made on games I've already played on 3.0?

If there's no risk to my current Dolphin data, I'll try the latest Dolphin build, copy my current settings and see if I can get it working.

Savestates you've made in older versions won't load in newer versions. Other than that settings should transfer fine. Double check your settings in config, graphics and audio when you start the new version. We remove things and replace them occasionally.

One notable one is the speed limit setting in config. When you start the new version, make sure that's set to auto.

Okay, thank you. I can stand to lose my save data, it isn't much. I'm gonna try it now, wish me luck.

Any ingame saves will work as well.
