Hey I am new to Dolphin and Emulating in general...I am having some sound problems...in Mario ttyd for GC I was hearing what I think are audio artifacts in the form of Blips (Honestly it COULD be part of the game...when I played it when it was new on my gc my living room was like grand central and had tunes blaring 24/7 so there's a good chance I've never heard the audio for it at all...but the blips definitely seem out of place)
I got LLE to load up NP but with LLE, the sound cuts out every second or so, which is obviously even worse.

Any help would be appreciated. I am still taking in all the info here, so there is some obvious solution I should have seen on my own just say so and I'll continue slogging through the forums to find a fix myself.

Also I use an xbox360 controller and my movement is mapped to my left sick and it was sticking to the left making mario walk all on his own...I fixed this by inreasing the deadzone to 14, thought I'd mention that in case it is either a symptom of some problem that may tie into my audio troubles, or in case somebody has the same controller issue and hasnt tried adjusting the deadzone yet =D
Well I just tried xaudio2 with HLE at 48000hz and that seems to have solved the problem!

Yep, XAudio2 and a different sample rate can indeed fix audio issues. As Paper Mario TTYD doesn't need LLE, this is the best solution

Actually LLE is needed

Really? Either your CPU isn't powerful enough for LLE (but it should, in this game at least), either you got bad DSP dumps.
Also have you checked "LLE on Thread"?

LEE is choppy on thread too. CPU is i7 950, tried it on Highest stable oc (4.3) and am now screwing around at factory (3.07), runs perfect in HHE so far on both, no difference between profiles at all...tried another game in LLE and the choppyness persists...could that be from my DSP dump? I followed instructions precisely to get my own but I suppose I could hunt down alternatives and give them a try although as I said, I do have it running just fine now in HHE.

And thanks for the replies folks!

You can use the VBeam Trick if LLE is stuttering. Right click the game in Dolphin and go to Properties, then enable Accurate VBeam Emulation. You can also disable Idle Skipping to go one step further. This may or may not work, seems to vary for which systems people play and which games they're running. Give it a try if you're curious.

It should not. Have you tried redumping your DSP files? Any issues using LLE with other games?
