I don't seem to have this problem with any other game - GC or Wii, just Sunshine. I'll play the game, then about a minute in I'll hear nothing except for the sound of the ocean waves. All the other sound is just completely gone until I close to the game. My audio is set to DSP HLE, and I have tried using all of the different Audio Backends as well as Dolby Pro Logic II decoder. Changing the DSP emulator engine only causes the game to suffer from lag. I am not using any cheats or patches for this game, and my CPU info is in my profile. Thank you.

This. 4.0.2's DSP HLE for a few games (including Super Mario Sunshine) is not good at all, but the one in recent development versions is much better.
