As we all know, one of Dolphin's most lacking areas is adequate sound support. Many games have buggy sound or sounds that don't work at all. Don't get me wrong, Dolphin is an excellent emulator. But I've been wondering... why has sound support been so bad?

Hardest to emulate and I don't think the DSP chip is as well documented as the rest of the gamecube.
