I have this problem that the sound, at least in two games that i've played recently, is cracking at random points. I'm openig this thread because i didn't see any complains about these games, so i don't know if it's a problem in my pc or the games. The games in question are Zelda SS and metroid prime 3.

My config:

Core i7 2600K 4.1Ghz (Overclocked)
8Gb DDR3 Corsair Vengance
HD4850 512Mb
Gigabyte z68x Ud3
Win 7 64bit

I have tried to reinstall the audio driver, but it didn't work.
I have been using the dolphin 3.0-199 and rev 7719 and they both have the issue. The config in both are the default one.

The sound for everything else works very well.
I forgot to say that i'm using the hdmi of the video card for sound, not the mainboard. Could this be the problem?

Are you using LLE? if not you should. Your system will support it

Yes, it does fix the crackling, but as it slower than the HLE i need to increase the overclock to 5.0 Ghz to maintain the fps to 60, but everything else works properly.

4.0 GHz should be enough but the essential is that it works for you. Enjoy Big Grin
