I have used the newest dolphin emulator and many archived versions but whenever I launch a game the sound will glitch and so will the game is their a fix for this? The two games I tried it on so far were Taz Wanted, and Luigi's Mansion. Any help would be appreciated thanks!

System Specs:

Operating System: Windows Vista x64
Processor/CPU: AMD Athlon ™ Dual Core Processor 4450e 2.30 GHz
Video Card/GPU: NVIDIA GeForce 9300 GE
Memory/RAM: 4.00 GB
Dolphin Revision Currently Using: Dolphin-win-x64-v3.5-367.7z

I fixed the gameplay element the sound is still very glitchy though.

3.5-367 is not the latest version of Dolphin. Also, AMD CPUs don´t have very high quality when talking about CPU power...

Sound will stutter in most games unless the game is running at full speed. (Luigi's Mansion is one of the ~20 games that doesn't have a 100% chance of following this rule, though it may stutter anyway or just be generally glitchy/problematic. The other game'll definitely stutter, though.)

Your hardware isn't enough to run either of these games at full speed; the CPU's absolutely pitiful by Dolphin standards (folks here usually recommend powerful desktop CPUs like an i5-3570K with a healthy overclock from 3.4 GHz to 4.2-4.7 GHz), and the GPU is likely barely enough to get by at minimum graphical settings (though I might be wrong, I'm not the best at judging GPU performance).

And with newest versions of Dolphin you need to run games full-speed to get the sound to work correctly. If you can't the sound will be choppy. Your CPU is probably too weak to run your games full-speed that's why you've got these "glitches".

EDIT 1: Beaten! Big Grin .

EDIT 2: You can try more recent builds ( Download page ) but it will probably be worse

Yup, working on getting some new hardware for my PC hopefully will be able to get the hardware soon! I am also thinking of just getting myself a gamecube for all the hassle I've gone through with dolphin recently.

It's less and less easy to get one though Big Grin

I have found quite a few on Amazon and Craigslist for $25 thinking about just grabbing one pretty soon.
