Soul Calibur II keeps freezing/crashing before loading arena

Used to work fine for me before, but now it never gets beyond the character select screen - it locks up right before loading an arena. In the past it would show some sort of opcode error, now it just freezes. On the latest dev build, Windows 10, RTX 3070 and Ryzen 5800X (it would also do this on my old RX 570)

It working fine for me with the last beta. Have you try verify your game iso in the game property. Is there any graphic setting you change outside of ir and ubershaders.
