I thought Soul Calibur 2 was one that worked well. I'm getting crappy speeds and I have tried almost every setting combo I can think of. Can anyone who has decent (85%+) speed please post your settings? This is my favorite fighting game and I'd love to get it working. I'm getting full speed on this game with my setup on PCSX2 but unfortunately it has a graphical glitch that makes the screen dark and contrast high and looks terrible.

Strange, the game used to work like 150% of normal speed here, are you sure your settings are correct?

It is probably due to the fifo changes. Try r6553 or earlier versions.

Yeah I read back through the forums and people were saying it worked great even on not so great systems. I tried many different setting combos and they all run at 65-70%

Funny, my crappy AMD 3600+ run it nearly perfect a long time ago.

Perhap try an older revision?

Here is my current config in the JPGs. I am using OpenGL because DX9 + 11 both caused graphical glitches and did nothing in the way of speedups. I have changed multiple setting combinations including a few of the suggested settings I found posted on these forums here to no avail.

I'd rather not use an older version if I don't have to. I see that suggested a lot and really would like to avoid downloading various versions for various games. So if I'm missing a setting change or 2 please let me know!

Ok the one setting I did not think of changing helped. Disabling dual cores results in FR of 80-100% (typically above 85% but definitely dipping down to 81 a lot). I never thought dual cores would slow things down, only thought they would cause the occasional crash or two.

Anyway its definitely acceptable FPS now although I still would like the range to be more like 95-100%. I'll keep trying different settings to see what may help.
