I tried the Pilotwings demo and adjusted the slider accordingly pending from the highest of effects to completely off. I never thought my eyes would be this sensitive for this kind of technology and I felt weird after playing. 04-19-2011, 11:22 PM

It would be painful either way I guess because when playing I kinda got like a double vision effect on the highest setting. 04-20-2011, 03:25 AM

I gotta try those out when the store have them on display. In general I think it's an awesome idea to have this kind of technology, but what we see today with the 3DS is only the beginning of something bigger to come. Things can only get better....I hope. I only hope my eyes can take it. (04-20-2011, 12:29 AM)Gabriel Belmont Wrote: I kinda got like a double vision effect on the highest setting. It really depends on how good is the game effect... Pilotwings is one of the few games I could play on the highest 3D effect possible and so far it was the best effect I've seen on the 3DS, the 3D is awesome, but on the other hand 15 minutes playing and i had to take a break because my eyes couldnt take it

15 minutes of gameplay and needs to take a break, that alone should give a hint how powerful this technology is and what it can do to the eyes.
When I play something, I usually play for several hours straight, imagine how the eyes would feel after 4 hours of 3DS torture and no brakes (04-20-2011, 04:02 AM)Gabriel Belmont Wrote: 15 minutes of gameplay and needs to take a break, that alone should give a hint how powerful this technology is and what it can do to the eyes. I had never played it before tough, my eyes wasn't used to it :p Now that I have my own 3DS I usually play for two or three hours straight with 3D enabled... I dont have Pilotwings tough. I got SSFIV 3D by now, and man that's awesome

Same here, but I guess my eyes can't adjust to this kind of technology. I'm one of the doomed + I have good vision today and don't want to spend the rest of my life with glasses just because I wanted to play a specific game which happened to be in 3D. |
