Hi,

I have a very big problem, I have read many threads here and especially one guy saying zelda wind waker (iso gamecube) works for him very well and he made it to the end of the game with he's android telephone so theorically I should be able to atleast start the game right ??
My phone is Sony Xperia Z1 and I havent done anything to it I mean I havent dont any jailbreak on it or any rooting nothing - should I ? and what is the name of this ?
I bought my phone in europe and its europe version and iso is usa version maybe thats the issue? BUT this iso plays on my computer so it should play on phone right?
so here is the problem - i used all reccomended settings and also used esl (not software engine) and started the game > nintendo logo appear's > then dolby logic logo > black screen and nothing happens after 15 minutes + I dont hear any sound from it.

Can anyone please help me out? I would really like to start any gamecube game on my sony xperia z1... Sad

Ah, I'm not sure where you read that someone completed Wind Waker on their phone, seems like that would be wrong.
The issue is actually the JIT CPU emulation core in this instance causing the game to not boot in to the game.
Being a new CPU core, it is expected to have bugs in it that aren't in our well tested CPU emulation cores.

Some people are working around the issues by using the JITIL CPU recompiler, which doesn't have any known bugs but is slow; taking a save state; then loading the save state under the JITArm. Another thing could be that they made the video on a version without the CPU bugs. It's mostly just fiddling with options right now while the CPU core is under development.

You could try downloading some of the earlier builds which didn't have the issue from here:
https://dl.dolphin-emu.org/builds/

In the video thread I think I used dolphin-master-3.5-2450.apk check out the video thread for more info. Your Z1 as identical hardware to my Z Ultra so should run the same.

Hello, first off I want to start congratulating everyone involved on this project. Looking forward to development on this, if Drastic is a model things will look good to this too.

I`ve taken notice of the dolphin android port only a few weeks ago but I had a htc One X and dolphin doesn't work on the tegra 3 platform, a while ago I`ve upgraded to an Xperia Z1 and things were looking promising as Wind Waker booted fine (10~15 fps) until yesterday, now only gives a message saying the OpenGL ES drivers on my device are buggy asking if I want to continue, but before I can do anything I get taken back to the selection screen. Is there anyway to get past this on the newer builds or we can only wait for Qualcomm to release better drivers for the Snapdragon 800 platform?

I've got this on the latest play store version as well, dated 30-11-2013

I don't get any error messages but starting a game will not work and i keep taken back to the game selection menu. This only happens when using the open gl es3 backend though.

installed dolphin-master-4.0-596.apk today on Sony Xperia Z1 running Android 4.3 (14.2.A.0.290):

- game runs in Hardware accelerated mode (ES 3.0), it does not crash immedeately after game start any longer
- dual core on, JIT ARM Recompiler, Fastmem off
- 11 - 60 frames per second (Donkey Kong Jungle Beat)
- Qualcomm Adreno 330 Video Driver for ES 3.0 is V 53.0 (04.03.00.146.073)

But the screen using 1x native Wii mode is flipped 90 degrees and split / shifted (see atached screenshot). Can someone support in this issue?

- added in game screenshot (22 fps)
- dual shock 3 controller runs fine
