Sonic Colors Workaround?

Since custom projection hack was removed, is there any other way to make Colors appear properly in the dev versions? I really don't want to have to go all the way back to the stable release just to play the game properly, so I was hoping for a workaround of some sort for dev versions.

EDIT: This is a separate issue, but I just found it: I CONSISTENTLY crash at the end of Asteroid Coaster Act 1. Is this known/what settings should I be checking?

Right click on the game, go to properties, click on edit config, and paste in this code:

AFAIK custom projection hacks can still be enabled manually via game INI...

Thanks a lot, that works perfectly. Does anyone know anything about that crash issue, though? I've tried changing around a few settings, but it still doesn't seem to work.

The BLR build was the cause, but I can't reproduce it any more.

...BLR build? I'm afraid I don't know what you're talking about. I'm using 4.0-4091 at the moment. What should I do?

It was an optimization merged. Other people were having it crash, including myself, but I can't reproduce it any more to help out

Well, I got it to work by enabling GPU thread synchro. It's a good thing it only seems to happen in that stage afaik because it really kills my framerate. But yeah, that's a workaround for now.
