for some reason this game only works for me on Dolphin on my
Geforce 7x series

but since I have low end 7300 model, 4 months ago I tried to run this game
with Geforce 6900 wich is high end gamer model, but obviously 1 generation younger than 7x series
the game refused to start with Geforce 6800, while Dolphin throwed out some errors (sorry didn't wrote them)

but playing this game till the very end, I still can't see why does it require graphic card
for DirectX 10 (Geforce 7 and above) and not DX 9 (GF 6x series and below)

I know game is from 2010 year or so, but its not THAT advanced...

can anyone explain this to me?

Geforce 7 is not a direct x 10 card. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/GeForce_7_Series

Quote:with Geforce 6900

Doesn't exist. Gefore 6 series ends with the 6800 series cards.

Quote:but playing this game till the very end, I still can't see why does it require graphic card

As stated above that statements makes no sense because geforce 7 series cards don't support dx10.

Please start making sense. Everything you've posted so far does not make any sense to us and I can't figure out what you're trying to ask.

hmm I edited 1st post yesterday... dunno why it left "6900"

ok I will start making sense as you say, minus the typos
I had XFX 6800 card and 7300 LE (which I still currently do)

the high end 6800 one could NOT run Sonic colors in Dolphin emulator no matter what I did, it refused with some errors
while this one 7300 LE can run it but naturally slow as snail

so main question still stands, why couldn't high end card run it and low end can ?
is it because 7x generation supports something magical that Sonic Colors uses or... ?

"with some errors" isn't a particularly detailed description, you know? Rolleyes

I know, but I can't test it back unless I buy it from 1 guy Tongue
hence why I wish to know if there is clash in GPU generation/technology between the 2 that affects this game

Nah , both of them are ... sh#t
I have no idea about it , high-end as you say ? No, the XFX 6800 was in 2004 and 7300LE was in 2006
I have the 7300GT , it can't keep up with dolphin even 1x resolution (640x480)
