Sonic Adventure 2 Battle problems.

Whenever I press a button or something, anything, I have to tap it alot for it to actually press, is this fixable? Please tell me how to fix it.

Almost the same happens so Sonic Heroes, but with control stick and buttons are too sensitive

I'm using a keyboard, by the way. Would a different controller plugin help?

It's this stupid thing sega implemented where you have to hold a button for a certain amount of frames before it works. Does the same on the real cube but you don't notice it
