Is it just me or is the download link not working ?

Cheers!

NVM it's working now!

Edit:

I love Sonic Adventure 2! Unfortunately the Android version of dolphin does not seem to support the DDS format of resource packs. Could you post this as an ordinary texture pack?

Can you fix the download link in the OP? It's linking to "http://http//www.mediafire.com/file/yxv51obcxgt20o5/SA2B+HDP+v2.3+Resource+Pack.zip". The link on the previous page works fine.

That is really bizarre. I'm not sure what happened, but the link should be fixed now. Thanks for the heads-up!

Aggro_hamtaro, I don't really have any experience with the android builds of Dolphin, so I don't know if it's just the dds format that's an issue, or the resource pack format as well. I can upload a standard .png texture pack version when I have time, but it will be pretty large, and might be overkill for the device as most textures are scaled up 4x, and some character textures etc. are 8x.

So basically ive put the zip folder into the resource pack folder and unziped it and named the folder with all the hd textures in it to GSNE8P the game id ive also put load custom textures on and made a DUPLICATE of the GSNE8P folder with all the textures in it and i put that into load/Textures/>game id</
Yea nothing is working all of the textures are just not there. i think its because when i load up the game it doesnt say loaded custom textures or whatever. i could really use some help ive been trying to get this hd texture pack to work for a while now  Undecided Also on Resourse Pack Manager its green

ScrubTastick, as long as you are using a current development version of Dolphin (NOT 5.0 stable), there shouldn't be too much to do to get resource packs working. First of all, there is no need for you to manually extract the resource pack zip file. You should delete both folders you created manually in both the resource pack, and texture folders. There should be nothing but the .zip file (and any other resource pack zip files you have) in the resource pack folder.

When you go to the Resource Pack Manager menu from Dolphin, you highlight the Resource Pack in the list, and click "Install" from the buttons on the right. At this point, Dolphin automatically unzips the resource pack into the proper directory with the correct file structure, and when it is finished, the pack title turns green. If you want to check if the textures unzipped properly, there should now be a "GSN" folder located in "Dolphin\Load\Textures". As an additional note, there is no need to use the game's full Title ID for the texture folders, and there hasn't been for a long time. Only the first three letters are used (GSN in this case) so the textures will load with versions of the game from different regions.

Other than that, you said you had "Enable Custom Textures" checked, and that should be all you need to do to see them in-game if everything is set properly.

To summarize:
Make sure you are running a current development version of dolphin (Currently 5.0 - 10xxx) and are using a DX12 compatible graphics card.
ONLY the SA2 HD Project zip file goes into the "Dolphin\Resource Packs" folder.
Run Dolphin, go to the resource pack manager and install the pack from there.
Make sure "Load Custom Textures" option is enabled.
Make sure to run the game on at least 3x Internal Resolution. If you run the game at native resolution with the resource pack enabled, not only will you see no improvement, some texture may actually look worse.

I'm currently away from my main computer for a bit, so I can't offer much more help, but I hope this troubleshooting will help you work things out.

@Matrix2525 Can't find a way to PM you so I'm sending a message directly here. I'm working on a video right now, and I wanted to use a background of Sonic Adventure 2 for one or more of the portions (I haven't done much yet), but the non-HD textures are rather choppy when zoomed in. I was wondering if I'm allowed to use the HD textures in the video instead?

The folder should be called GSN, not GNS. GSN is referring to the game ID, which for the USA version is precisely GSNE8P. "GSN" probably refers to Sonic Adventure 2: Battle. I don't know if this helps at all because this is probably a typo... But I just wanted to point it out Smile
