Turning on lock threads to cores may help but other than that there is not much that we can do.

Probably his cpu is too slow (more likely) or his cpu is not running at the clock rate that it's capable of (due to either temperature or threading issues). Unfortunately he hasn't given us a lot of info. to work with and seems to be taking awhile to respond.
