Hey thanks! That last line describes this project way too much, hahaha. I've had absolutely zero luck trying to get a PPC development environment working on that old Mac-it's just too finicky. Qemu is likewise annoying to work with.

Great news, however-a team of devs just released a port of the Linux kernel to the Wii U, which should make things somewhat easier.

Big update! I've been devoting quite a bit of time to helping with linux-wiiu and getting that running, since I'm likely going to use that as the framework for Wii semi-emulation (semulation?) with Dolphin. We've yet to implement hardware graphics acceleration or multicore processing; once that's finished, though, it'll be a lot easier to use the existing OpenGL backend on the Radeon drivers than having to write a new GX2 backend.

With that said, I've finally been able to get a compilation environment up and running...and GCC immediately throws internal compiler errors on nearly anything besides Hello World. *sigh* Either I'll have to mess around with configuring/updating GCC, switch compilers, or do a lot of patching to work around the errors.

Current goal: fix the internal compiler errors and actually get Dolphin to compile successfully. From there, there's going to be a ton of patching to support big-endian systems....whoopee Smile
