Something that might help you synch wiimote with win7

So I've noticed there are a few different tricks that seem to work. One trick might work in one build where as it wont in another.

When using win7 (I am using ultimatex64) with a generic blue-tooth (or you don't want to use the bluesoile) Make sure you change your stock driver to the Microsoft Bluetooth Enumerator and Microsoft Wireless for transceiver for bluetooth. Then make sure windows finds your wiimote. After windows finds my wiimote one of three things happen all lights stay lite or the all go off or just the 4th is lite. As long as windows still has your wiimote in the bluetooth device menu it's still connected.

Now here is were the diffrent 'tricks' seem to come in to play

Open up Dolphin and if light number one on the wiimote works then you are in good shape to play.

Open up Dolphin and all 4 lights on the wiimote are lite (this will more if just the 4th lite is lite too). Then goto the wiimote and you should feel your wiimote vibrate. If this is the case you are good to go.

Also sometimes you'll need to leave the wiimote config window open. I know for me with build 4613x64 I need to leave it open or else I lose my wiimote.

One last suggestion if you've tried all the above and still aren't having any luck just try and leave the wiimote config window open. Sometimes it will connect when loading up a wii game.

He is right. And I was even a Vista Fan boy (I was one of the few that had no problems with Vista )

But win7 is sooooo much nicer. I love how you can scare the windows away to make them auto-minimize.

Let's say you have 5 different noetpad files open . Take the one you want to keep open and shake it. all the others will minimize. It's so fun I open windows just to close them

Well I only use the wiimote for Dolphin. So that's what this little tut is for.

A trick that worked for me was to leave the windows 7 bluetooth devices window opened. I have no idea why but I only can get it to work when I do that. I'm on windows 7 ultimate x64.

Another trick is downloading the trial of SmoothBoard and using their auto connect feature. The normal Win7 one did NOT work for me, it installed but the WiiMote just kept flashing. Smoothboard had it working in a few seconds
