I'm using Forceware 258.69 beta, but this was an issue even on the last official Forceware 257.21. I tested under ubuntu also a few weeks back and I'm thinking, "Man, performance under Linux with Dolphin is complete crap" but it seems to be affecting OpenGL under all platforms.
I have a Geforce 9800GT, Core2Duo E8500 @ 3.16 Ghz, 4 GB DDR2 Dual Channel Ram, Windows 7 x64. 07-21-2010, 01:17 AM
ok so the open GL plugin broke somewhere between rev 5864 (the last working rev i hav wit OGL) and rev 5910 (just downloaded and with mp2 is alot more slower in OGL than iin other rev...by about 30 fps just in the title screens)
idk if this helps but yea

Checkout my latest project ( it is a program that downloads and compiles dolphin on mac and linux now): http://code.google.com/p/dolphin-emu-downloader (It's unofficial and maintained by me, not the dolphin dev team) 07-25-2010, 01:23 AM

It would be nice to know the exact revision that broke the OpenGL plugin and killed performance, so I can file a report on the issue tracker. I'm going to take a guess and say that this is a Nvidia specific issue, as some people seem to be using the OpenGL plugin without any issues.

OpenGL not only looks uglier than Dx9, but it also runs slower. Dx11 runs about even as Dx9 for me. But it's not in 2.0 which is the only version that has efb to ram option.
