So, the thing is, I'm from Brazil and I'm in a group to translate an old anime called "Oban Star Racers", since Jetix stopped it half-way.
I am the translator of the team, but I have many problems about understanding what they are saying, since they LOVE to use very strange words.
So, I'm looking for someone with a native english that could help in the project. What this person needs to do? Just write down in a program (AegisSub) what they are saying, very difficult right?
We are currently at the 9th episode and translating the 10th, so we only need to translate more 16 episode.
So, anybody would like to help? It is a great chance to re-watch the anime, it's would be very easy to help, since it's just a matter of writing down everything, it would just take like half a hour of your day.
Our website is - http://www.projetooban.net/ , if you want to download, just go there and search for "Download de episódios". The size of the file is pretty big because it's encoded in a way to have better quality than the original file from the DVD. You can download it and just disable the subs.
The program we use to write the subs and time then to sync with the video is AegisSub (pretty easy to use and it has a very small size).
So, any good soul out there who would like to give half a hour of his/her day to help?
