Hello everyone!

I'm brand new to these forums and also to emulation. I'm sure you guys have seen 10000 of these threads. Believe me I have tried looking through a bunch of threads already made but couldn't really find a specific answer so I figured I'd try my luck posting without being flamed to death hopefully. Shy

Skyward sword needs a nunchuk and wii motion plus remote. I get that. My question is, do I have to buy an offical wii remote with motion plus and a sensor bar, or does dolphin 3.5 (the version im using) emulate this? If so how is it done? If not, what other the other necessary steps after purchasing a remote and IR bar?

Also, I notice people talking alot about crashes, slowdowns, LLE (no idea what that is), etc. Is there a FAQ or a tutorial if you will, that I would be able to check out?

Thanks and sorry for asking what is probably the 230923rd time you've seen this asked.

You preferably have to buy an official Wiimote with Motion Plus. A sensor bar is recommended but not required for all games.
Motion Plus can be emulated on old builds ( http://forums.dolphin-emu.org/Thread-emulated-motion-plus-unofficial?highlight=emulated+motion+plus ) but they are no more supported on the forum.

For LLE have a look here http://forums.dolphin-emu.org/Thread-howto-getting-dsp-dumps-required-for-dsp-lle--23103

Thanks for the quick reply! I will purchase a wiimote with motion plus built in and a nunchuk. Do you have a recommendation on a bluetooth adapter and IR sensor bar to purchase? You would know much better than I would.

Any wireless sensor bar should work fine. Mine is a very very old one from Bigben and it still works just fine Tongue .
My BT adapter is a cheap one from Hama. I've never got any issue. Use preferably Toshiba stack (even if BlueSoleil or any other software is provided with the adapter)

There is a program called DarwiinRemote that will allow you to use the Wiimote with the Mac. I found this tutorial: http://www.wikihow.com/Use-Your-Wii-Remote-As-a-Mouse-on-a-Mac
