Some issues with ToS on GC

First of all I discovered this emulator yesterday and let me just thank everyone involved for your incredible work!

Now on to my problem.

First here are my specs

Intel i7 920
6GB RAM
Vista 64-bit
EVGA 9800GT OC+

I'm having big slowdowns in combat and also the music seems really slow. I can still play fine anywhere else but the combat speed is really annoying.

Also the game seems to be locked at 30fps even if I set it to 60fps. I tried many different things like D3D, OpenGL. Basically everything I could switch on/off I tried it... There was NO difference whatsoever.

I'm using r4928 by the way.

Turn off frame limiting and use VSync or audio throttle instead, frame limiter+idle skipping are no good in that game.

Turning off framelimit helped but it's not at normal speed, and turning audio throttle off does speed up the game but the music is playing WAY too fast!!

Also is it normal that I see wireframes around mountains on the overworld map?

Also another question. Why is it that Metroid Prime 2 is listed as playable in the compatibility list but when I try to run it it doesn't work.

Is there something special I have to do to make it work?
