Hello all!
I am new here despite having used dolphin for years. Before the Wii support. I have never really had any issues with it until now. I have two problems, but I thought it would be best to make separate threads for them. here is the first one.
I usually play my games on my desktop as it's more powerful. But recently I upgraded to an M11x R3 (i7 edition) so I could *hopefully* play my emulators on the go and on a TV at a friends house. Overall, for an 11.6" inch computer I am amazed how well it does in dolphin, pcsx2, etc. It's a solid rig, my specs don't seam to be the issue.
Two of my favorite co-op games for my wii are Kirby's Return to Dreamland and Donkey Kong Country Returns. I am able to play them on my desktop without a problem. The thing is with the laptop, they do not get past the black screen upon booting. Sometimes I'll get the yellow text that shows my specs and a few settings, then it will get stuck there.
some of my games take a minute to boot, so I have waited up to five, still nothing. I even left it on over night just to see if it would eventually boot. Nope.
I have come across some older threads that claimed certain hacks need to be enabled via right clicking on the title in dolphin. But the new versions already use them, or when I do click them it doesn't do anything.
so that is my main issue at the moment. Thanks for any suggestions. I put my specs and info in when I registered, I hope it shows up somewhere....
