I already heard about the problems with the newest builds, so I downloaded the Redistributable Packs
but now I can't launch several games anymore! Donkey Konga 1 and 2, Billy Hatcher, Baten Kaitos, Paper Mario TTYD etc.
All stopped working in the latest release. What can I do now?
These are the specs of my newest laptop:

XMG Pro 17
Windows 10 x64
Intel Core i7-9750H @ 2.60 GHz (4.50 GHz Turbo Boost)
NVidia GeForce RTX 2070 @ 8GB
32 GB RAM DDR4

Sorry to bump this so soon but does anybody have the same problem? I don't know why so many games aren't working anymore.
I tried it now on 4.0-7563. Strangely, some games are still working. I run Dolphin with the default settings on Windows 8.1.

Sometimes when I try to open a game, I first get this error message, and then Dolphin crashes:

When I try to start a game, there is a black window at first but a second later, this error message appears. When I click
on OK, Dolphin crashes. In the cases where this error message doesn't appear, the window stays black and in the title bar
there's FPS 0 - VPS 60.

Are you using PAL games? There was actually a change recently that broke some of them causing an issue similar to what you describe. The change was reverted in 4.0-7592 and above.

For people with NTSC VC games, install/boot them from the system menu for now while the bug is looked into.
