I dunno, LordVador, it's pretty obvious to me. Lack of flawless emulated IR/accelerometer support makes Dolphin clumsy/unsuitable/useless for a lot of games when you don't have a real Wii Remote.

Now that I think about it, though, most hard-drive-based laptops have accelerometers in them to park the drive if the laptop's dropped, and I remember that, for the one in most MacBooks, the Linux driver for it didn't support parking the hard drive but you could use it to play Neverball by tilting your laptop. http://neverball.org/ I wonder if we could implement support for those so people end up throwing their laptops instead of Wii Remotes? :D

I agree. However it shouldn't be too much annoying for the games he listed (FIFA games, Mortal Kombat, CODMW3)

1- Don't use one of your stick for IR. Let IR set to default settings (cursor Y-/Y+/X-/X+). Your mouse will do the job.
2- If you don't config "Swing" and "Tilt" you won't be able to simulate Wiimotes moves. Map them to one of your stick.
3- In most games you'll have to use Nunchuk to move. Choose "Nunchuk" in "Extension" and map buttons to your second stick.
4- In addition you'll have to configure "Shake" functions (Wiimote and Nunchuk). Choose preferably the same button for the three values (x, y, z).

That is all Big Grin
