I read in an issue that it was core-sync problems with Dx9. Some games gets REALLY slow, as in 10 FPS when I could otherwise get more than full. And since it happens with both frame limit and DSP throttle now, it can leave you with unplayable games (since it's too fast without a limit)
Specs: intel i5 3570k @ 3.4GHz;
16Gb RAM; Raedon HD 7900;
Win8 64-Bit

Nope, also occurs with the OpenGL plugin when wither frame limit and/or the Audio throttle is enabled..

The problem seems to occur on all builds, it seems to be a core issue.

Thanks for making this thread.

I noticed that NSMB was constantly locked at 30 FPS whether I had AA set to off or 16xQ CSAA when using OpenGL, so I switched to Direct3D9 and was finally able to play at full speed. After reading this thread, I disabled the frame limiter and I am now able to play NSMB using OpenGL with 16xQ CSAA, it looks much better and performs just as good.

Sonic Unleashed didn't have these errors before. i mean speed issues. Whatever i do it stays locked at 20 fps . I did everything you told me to do, and it stays the same. Any patch to fix ?
