Some Games Don't Work on a newer version

i'm running the dolphin emulator x64 r4799

I started the game "james cameron's Avatar" abd it froze on the page where it shouw you to buckle your wiimote and have some space in the room. In other words the very first page. When you press a it fades out and then apears again and the fps becomes 0.
I tried that same file on a previous version and it worked better (well, i could go as far as the game menu)

I tried another game I have on 4799 and it worked.

I don't know if this is the newest version of dolphin emulator (i found it by accident) I really have no idea how this website works

Is there a way of fixing my problem?

that happens to me in wii music, It hasn't happen on any other games but i hope it gets fixed soon. (cause wii music is just not that important..)

It happens also with Knockout Party (wii). It freezes on the loading screen, just before the ubisoft intro video. One week ago it worked without issues.

I've tried the r4723 version and it works...the game launches but it's half speed. (40% to 60%)

I don't get it, how come newer versions don't work? It just doesn't make any sence

How does it not make any sense? The emulator is in constant state of flux. Its always been like this. Things break while other things improve. When things are constantly changing, expect this type of thing. Welcome to the forum wiii LOL
