Hi, there.
I often had the problem, that some pointer codes had no effect to the game.
And know I have the same problem with many normal RAM-Writes.
I hacked new codes today and they worked fine via usb-gecko and Action Replay on wii and gamecube consoles.

But no changes on dolphin Sad

Other codes are still working...

The cheats I used are for F-Zero GX (pal version)

Here's one the cheats:
original Mute City - Twist Road track in the selection menu [CosmoCortney]
057E7BE0 49CA9ED0
057E7BE4 00064265
057E7BEC 49D0E138
057E7BF0 0003A16B

it should do this:
CPU: 2 x Intel Xeon e5 2687w @ 3.1GHz (3.8GHz turbo)
GPU: Asus GTX 980 STRIX
RAM: 16GB DDR3 1600MHz
Dolphin is installed on an SSD by OCZ; Vertex 3 with 530MB/s Rs, 500MB/s Ws

Nope.
I tested a later revision, and 3.5.

Is there any other revision that maybe supports this code?

Can you explain in English what the code does and how it works with the game? Dolphin is using the gecko codehandler so it should work very similarly. Have you tried converting the gecko codes to AR codes and trying them in Dolphin?

what the code exactly does is swapping the mini-map displayed in the course selection menu with the real course.
The GeckoCode version does not work as well.
Here's the Gecko version:
077E7BE0 00000008
49CA9ED0 00064265
077E7BEC 00000008
49D0E138 0003A16B

Another code not working on dolphin is this one:
exploded vehicles are memory- and license cards:

Gecko:
077E19DC 00000008
02212800 00002E20
077E19E8 00000008
02215620 00020E00

AR:
057E19DC 02212800
057E19E0 00002E20
057E19E8 02215620
057E19EC 00020E00

Do you have the codehandler.bin file?

Would you also try starting the game with the GameCube BIOS enabled and Real XFB enabled? The BIOS sets up the memory arena for the game. Dolphin's memarena defaults might be breaking the cheats. Real XFB is required to see the GameCube BIOS screen correctly.
