I've been going through several threads and almost found one that has a similar situation to mine, but there was no solution to that one.
I've downloaded the recent Dolphin. I'm using a Vaio with integrated Bluetooth (Atheros AR3012 Adapter), thus, no need for any dongle (---I suppose?). The Wiimote is a recently bought Wii MotionPLUS Inside, thus, it's the troublesome RVL-CNT-01-TR model. (I may be a newbie with Dolphin, but I learned quickly about the differences between old Wiimotes and new ones.)
Because I have integrated Bluetooth, connection to the laptop is no problem. When I get onto Dolphin and set up the Real Wiimote settings, I can get as far as making the 0 Connected become a 1 Connected. However, the Wiimote will never rumble and it doesn't switch to the 1 Player light. (However, I sometimes feel like I felt a soft rumble with the Wiimote, but the lights will never switch to Player 1.) No matter how many times I press the 1 and 2 buttons, the four lights keep flashing. Sometimes, if I press like crazy, the four lights will keep on flashing until I press the Wiimote's Wii on/off button.
Bottom line, even if Dolphin says the Wiimote is connected, there are no button press responses since the Player 1 light is never on to begin with. No matter how many times I press the Refresh button, the four lights will just keep on flashing.
Throughout this forum, I see that the number one popular solution is the Toshiba stack. That's perfect for people without integrated Bluetooth. For me, I already have an adapter and the Microsoft Enumerator (Stack) all in one. Out of curiosity, I downloaded the Toshiba stack but got stuck at the "insert your stick into the port" part. I found a tutorial that had a way around this, but the guy still had a dongle as part of his tutorial.
So, is it okay for me to try to re-download the Toshiba stack? (I guess, I would have to delete the Microsoft Enumerator to do so?) Or, is the Toshiba stack not easily compatible with an integrated Bluetooth adapter? I've yet to come across a tutorial that simply involves integrated Bluetooth connections.
Appreciate any of your (user friendly) responses. ^__^
