EDIT: Ended up being a hotkey setting mapping my start button to exit. don't know how it happened but it seems obvious in hindsight.

I just upgraded to Dolphin 5.0 official and I'm getting a strange anomaly I can't figure out.

I use a 360 controller for gamecube. I can launch games and they run great just as before, but when I press the start button, Dolphin just immediately closes. I can't tell if its a crash or i'm somehow sending the "kill" command by pressing it.

I don't know if/where dolphin keeps error logs so its hard to tell.

I am using xpadder to push alt+f4 if i hold back button for 5 seconds but there's nothing mapped to the start key (or anything else for that matter). this happens on all connected 360 controllers.

Any ideas?

dolphin log if you go to View > Show Log (Configuration) and set write to file plus check all types
you can also take a look at Options > Hotkey Settings
and last Controllers: some game don't like to have two controllers like GC and Wii working together.
other than that is hard to say =\

Just enable xinput in dolphin and don't use xpadder?

forgot to mention... i tried disabling xpadder and get the same problem. i only use xpadder to map a universal exit button as the machine in question has large collections and multiple emulators running through the frontend Emulation Station.
