[SOLVED] Pairing problems on Windows 8

Hi guys!
I've just set up my Windows 8 HTPC. I was very disappointed when I realized that I couldn't pair my Wiimote with PC to play Wii games on Dolphin. Here's what I tried:
  • I downloaded Wiipair.exe from this forum.
  • I launched Wiipair and pressed the Sync-Button on my Wiimote.
  • Wii pair then said one Wiimote was synced successfully.
  • The Wiimote starts flashing all four leds.
The Wiimote also appeared in the Windows device manager (called RVL-CNT-01 or something).
After that I fired up Dolphin. But when pressing "Pair Up" or "Refresh" in the Wiimote dialog nothing happens. It alsways says 0 Wiimotes are found.

Is there a trick to this? What am I doing wrong?

Here on my Windows 8 I just used Wiipair and then opened Dolphin and clicked "refresh" button, everything worked fine... Try to uninstall your BT driver and let Windows install it again. In last case (or if you have an RVL-CNT-01-TR wiimote) install the Toshiba bluetooth stack... Also, rememeber that at least for me, the default windows bluetooth stack works very well (better than the other stacks), so, I recomend trying the Toshiba stack only if you have the TR wiimote.

Hi, thanks for your help.
Sadly that didn't solve my problem. Luckily I just found the solution myself: I forgot to set the two Wiimotes to "Real Wiimote" in Dolphin (by default they are set to emulated). After I switched them, dolphin suddenly found the two devices. That's a bit tricky ;-)

So everything was already working fine in the first place, I just didn't realize it...
Thanks again!
