hello everyone,

a while ago, I purchased a mayflash GC controler adapter for PC USB
(see picture here: http://www.mayflash.com/Up/day_120604/201206041231251424.jpg)

and with some youtube help and a settings file I was able to use my regular controlers, AND wavebird (!!) controlers to use on dolphin (using version 3.5-1801) on my windows 7 PC.
everything runs smoothely, and I can play any GC game as I normally would without any problems.

now as I suddenly had the idea of making a digital backup of my pokemon box Ruby & sapphire save file. I thought I could emulate pokemon box on my PC, and then use the adapter to connect to my GBA SP with use of the gba-GC link cable.

The game starts up perfectly, the remotes work, I can select the menu and such, but as soon as it is asked to turn on the GBA with the gamecardridge, it doesnt respond and on my GBA SP itself, the game (pokemon leaf green in this case works as well as ruby/sapphire) just starts up as if it wasn't connected to the gamecube.

is there anyone of you who may know how to tackle this problem? It'd be a waste to let all my 370 pokemon get lost due to a worn out battery issue which I hope not to get ;w;
Thank you in advance! ;w;

The mayflash adapter converts the GameCube controller into an HID device. It only presents a controller with buttons to the OS, and it does not allow the PC or the emulator access to the raw data of the serial connection. Basically, it won't work with a mayflash adapter. Sorry.

Your best bet would be to use Pokemon Box on your wii and then use homebrew to dump the memory card and get it into Dolphin.
