I was able to use an official real wiimote with 4.0.2 when playing games.
I have come back after a few months and having difficulty.
My wiimote is paired and connected using a Broadcom 2046 Bluetooth2.1+EDR USB device.
The problem occurs when attempting to use it with dolphin. After selecting real wiimote and clicking on "refresh" both my keyboard and mouse stop responding (usb drivers shut off?) and seconds later the wiimote will connect and start working. Problem is There's nothing I can do as both my mouse and keyboard are unresponsive.

G110 keyboard + razor mamba 2012

I have updated bluetooth drivers as well as windows and motherboard.
used different USBs
uninstalled and reinstalled drivers
used 2 different wiimotes
disconnected gamepads (DS4 and 360 controller)
tried using 4.0, 4.0.2 and 5.0-rc-25
The only big difference since the last time (when it was working with no issues) was upgrading to windows 10 from 7
**UPDATE**
Well, I discovered that the mouse and keyboard stop responding even if there is no wiimote paired to the bluetooth. I guess this problem doesnt have to do with the controller. It happens by simply clicking refresh under real wiimotes only when real wiimote is selected.
**UPDATE 2**
I have solved the problem by doing the following:
1. Clear CMOS & reset BIOS
2. Update all motherboard drivers
3-A. Open Device Manager and open Universal Serial Bus controllers
B. Go down the list and individually uninstall everything under Universal Serial Bus controllers
C. When you get to the point where your mouse and keyboard stop working, shut down PC. **YOU MUST DO A PROPER
SHUT DOWN. (keep track of what you have uninstalled and continue to uninstall when you get back in)
D. As you restart your PC, windows will update each USB (I did not do any updating except for bluetooth)
4. After those steps i simply paired wiimote to bluetooth and refreshed under "real wiimotes" in "wiimote configuratio"
5. Profit?
Hopefully this will help someone as this was extremely frustrating and time consuming
