Hello y'all,

Recently I have moved back to Dolphin for the 5.0 release, you devs did so much of an outstanding job on this release that I have decided to move over from my (v)Wii. Seriously, you have my thanks for putting so much effort into this build.

But there is one tiny wee problem I have which doesn't bother me the most, but still has got my attention (as I would need this more in a later stage): I am unable to launch the Wii Menu from Dolphin.

First of all: Yes I did dump my vWii's NAND using Dump Mii NAND.
From the Tools menu I have selected the option "Load Wii System Menu", which then results in my screen going fullscreen mode (as I have set Dolphin to do that upon launching a title.) But then, on the background, a bunch of errors keep occurring which state 'IntCPU: Unknown instruction xxxxx at pc+ xxxxxx' (refer to images in attachment) with two options which say 'Yes' or 'No'.

When pressing Yes another error message pops up with slightly different numbers consecutively. Sometimes an error message with 'OK' as only option occurs.
If I press 'No' on any of these, Dolphin crashes.

Have I done something wrong in the long run, or may this be a bug/problem in the code?

Any help is appreciated.
Thanks in advance,

-Reboot.

P.S.: I am sure my NAND is functioning properly in terms of Miis and save data: it is able to load that when launching Mario Kart Wii for instance.
I am using the latest Wii System software available. (PAL)

Go to the dolphin emulator folder. In win7 you can go to documents/dolphin emulator. Dunno on ubuntu.
Then go to wii, shared2, sys, and delete sysconf. That isn't supposed to be overwritten.

Hey,

I already removed everything from the generic Dolphin NAND before importing everything in there.

The point is that you are not supposed to use the SYSCONF from your real Wii. Removing things before importing isn't related to that.

Would this contribute to the System menu not working properly?

I have fixed my problem regardless, I just had to reinstall the System WAD as the one I had was faulty. Thank you for helping me out!
