{SOLVED} Having Joystick Problems with my Gamecube Controller

So, I got the Dolphin Emulator recently and I've been playing Super Mario Sunshine with my Gamecube Controller. Everything's fine, except for one problem: My joystick isn't working properly. Whenever I move the main joystick in the diagonal direction, Mario moves so slow he's tiptoeing. At first, I figured I could tolerate it for a bit, but when the game started to pick up, I noticed how extremely difficult and annoying moving actually was. I know it's the Emulator's Analog settings because I actually fixed it once, but not only was the L setting configured a certain way that I'm unable to rediscover, I accidentally screwed something up and set the controller's configurations back to default without saving them. The Dolphin Emulator even reads the main control stick as weaker when I move it diagonally in the gc controller's configuration settings. Does anybody know what I can do? I've tried changing certain things like Configure Input and the Threshold but I'm not exactly getting anywhere from those. Any help is appreciated. Thanks in advanced,

Teleported_Bread =)

You should do a calibration of the left stick. If you are using an old version of Dolphin like 5.0 stable, you'll need to update in order to get access to this feature.

I'm using Dolphin version 5.0-11991

EDIT: I just solved the problem. Thank you for your help. Now I need help with one last thing: How do I delete this post? I'm new and I can't seem to find the option.

Hey, sorry to gravedig this post but could you share what you did to get it working? I'm having the same slow diagonal joystick issue with Metal Gear Twin Snakes, and calibrating the joystick didn't fix it. I'm on 5.0.13603 x64.
