[SOLVED] BT Passthrough builds not running Wii games

I'm trying to test the Bluetooth Passthrough feature from the newest development builds, but I can't get them to run any Wii games. I get stuck on a black screen, and if I try to quit the emulator while this black screen is up, it just stays on a shutdown process but never actually closes, so I am forced to terminate the process via the task manager.

I tried using both the 5.0-910 and 5.0-1171 builds. I can run GC games, but not Wii games. Not even WiiWare.

Also, I'm getting the following error: "Failed to open Bluetooth device: LIBUSB_ERROR_ACCESS". I understand that this happens when Dolphin does not have permission to access the BT adapter, but the wiki page does nothing to explain how to actually fix this.

The stable 5.0 version works just fine.

Thanks in advance for any help.

SOLVED: Turns out I was using an incompatible bluetooth adapter. It was a 2.0 one. I'm using a 4.0 now and it works fine.

Does it work if you enable Render to Main Window or use another backend than Direct3D 11 or don't boot with fullscreen?

Let me test that. I'll report back with the results in a sec.
EDIT: Yeah, didn't work. I tried DX11, Vulkan, OpenGL and DX12, and none of those worked. Windowed mode and main window rendering did nothing too.

EDIT 2: Apparently it's the BT passthrough itself that's preventing me from running Wii games. I changed back to the emulated adapter setting and the games started up. I'll try using another adapter I have with me (a 4.0 one, I've been testing with a 2.0) and see if anything changes.

Yeah, it'll refuse to start if no usable adapter can be used. There should be a message telling that to you though; did it not appear?

Yeah, I used a 4.0 adapter and now it works fine. I didn't get any messages, though.

some people don't run with panic handlers on, so it'd just close probably.
