Well after 2 short years my cooler master silent pro hybrid 1300w (what a mouthful) died on me out of the blue. It didn't die in a toasty array of sparks or anything extraordinary luckily. I was just gaming like normal nothing seemed off had no random reboots or any type of performance issue that could result from a dying psu but I turned off my computer one night woke up 6 hours later to find out my computer wouldnt turn back on. I hooked it up to my extra test rig to see if maybe it was the mobo or something else but no power at all just nothing. It wasn't like there was a power surge or anything that night either it just decided not to turn back on never actually found out why it died. But because of it I was down for a week without a psu and not having a computer sucked a lot. But I replaced it with a seasonic 750w psu even though 750w is still more then I actually need for my current rig. Needless to say I don't know if I want to buy another cooler master psu since it just stopped working so sudden with no warning signs at all.
It did look nice in my case (besides the wiring at the time) http://i.imgur.com/96j0SZF.jpg
with the seasonic one the psu case was either meant for top mounting or the fan to be sucking air from inside the computer. I have the fan facing down on the bottom of my computer so I get too look at the ugly side of the psu. http://i.imgur.com/ecZRLRk.jpg
