Could you report this problem on the issue tracker? https://bugs.dolphin-emu.org/projects/emulator

It looks like our fallback path must be failing. If macOS would have decent OpenGL support, this wouldn't be an issue...

I also created an account just because of this issue. Unfortunately, versions prior to 5.0-5968 also don't work on macOS High Sierra due to the fact that Wiimotes won't connect, so I guess I just have to wait until this issue with the invisible blocks is fixed in a future dev build.

I mean literwlly its just blocks and coins how hard can it be? werent they updating this for years. Besides this the emu actually runs and looks better thsn the ds emu i run the ds new mario bros on. i just wish guys i wish...
My workaround is to uncheck "Scaled EFB Copy".  Everything works fine but some textures quality are lower.  I hope this help.

OpenGL Graphics Configuration -> Enhancements -> [Uncheck] Scaled EFB Copy

I’m using dolphin-master-5.0-10194 on macOS Mojave.

Please be sure to read our rules about necroposting. We typically discourage reviving threads older than 6 months like this. The thread author hasn't been around in over a year as well, so it's doubtful they may even see anything posted here. At any rate, you are free to share the solution in places like the dedicated NSMB Wii thread (which you already have).
