Greetings guys!

So i got a strange problem. AFAIK the 3570k oced should be enough to handle everything right?

And thats where my problem begins:

I oced my 3570k to 4,2ghz (even 4,3) just to be able to play smg2 with lle on.
Sadly it wouldnt work at fullspeed no matter the settings. then i tried Skyward Sword with lle - same result (about 80% speed). with lle turned off, both games work like a charm. Currently using Dolphin 3.0, standard settings.

Specs:
i5 3570k @ 4,2GHz (only 2 cores enabled atm)
4GB Ram
GTX 570
Win 7 64 Bit

Any ideas?

Enable the other cores and use LLE on thread.
OS: Windows 10 64 bit Professional
CPU: Intel i5 4670K @3.4GHz... for now @4.6GHz with a quick and dirty (yet stable) OC. May get faster in a bit before the end of time.
RAM: 16GB (Down from 24 GB after some was given to siblings)
GPU: Radeon Vega 56

Yep, LLE on thread should help you. Maybe Lock Threads to Cores too.

And make sure your integrated graphics is DISABLED. After I updated my bios, I had a problem with Super Mario Galaxy acting slow for some reason. Forgot that the bios settings were all reset, including the PCIE graphics priority setting. That would do it.

Wow, thanks guys - it seems to work! Big Grin
I thought dolphin utilizes only 2 cores?
The reason why i disabled them was heat.
Since i only have a Katana 3 Cooler i dont know how much i should push the cpu with 4 cores enabled.
with prime95 (full load) i had max 75°C (so far)
I probably wont reach full load in real life but stil...
What do you think?

If LLE on Thread is disabled, you're right Big Grin

Prime95 and 75°C are okay. In Dolphin, i guess, you'll get about 70°C - This is okay.

Right now i am not home, but i left my pc on running Prime for about 7 hours or unti i come back.
I also left an Monitoring Prog runing to see how the temps will Look like after a Long period of time.
So basically i still do Not know any final results. Wink
Would it be possible to use 3 cores and still maintain fullspeed?
How far can i push the graphic settings with my gtx 570 while maintaining fullspeed?

( anyone there with similar rig and katana 3 who give some more advice? )

Thanks a lot so far Big Grin

Okay so i probably will disable the fourth Core, maybe ill try 4,3 GHz.

Out of curiosity:
If it wouldnt work with 3 cores fullspeed, what Hardware settings ( in Terms of oc -> fullspeed ) would you recommend? Are there Games my current System could not handle?

I'll Report later how everything turned out.

Thanks a lot!

Your system can handle almost all games in fullspeed. Smile And if a game don't run @ fullspeed it should be very plabable though.
But there is one game (CoD: The Big Red One) which needs a 10GHz+ Ivy Bridge/Sandy Bridge cause it only runs in the Interpreter Mode.
