SMG2 freezes instantly with LLE on Thread

Using dolphin 4.0.2.

Using AMD FX8350/650Ti.

Runs decent on normal LLE (not on thread), but drops to 51-56FPS.

Enabling LLE on Thread (hopes for performance increase) the game loads and freezes in 1-2s on the Wii safety screen.

Don't run it on thread, and try using the OpenGL backend with Vertex Streaming Hack on one of the latest dev builds.

Games that use the Zelda ucode have this issue when enabling LLE audio on a dedicated thread. Other games (SMG1, LoZ:TP, MK Double Dash) may experience similar freezes with this option enabled, so be aware of that. Also, a number of people have noticed no speedups with LLE audio on its own thread for Zelda ucode games, so you're probably not missing anything.

The way you worded that makes it sound like SMG1, LoZ:TP, and MK Double Dash aren't Zelda ucode games

Then learn 2 read better :p It can easily be taken as both, but since I just mentioned Zelda ucode games having this issue in the previous sentence, I should think it's pretty obvious that the "other games" are Zelda ucode games. It's all about context man.

It's cause your AMD FX can't handle LLE on a separate thread. I don't have this issue and LLE on thread does seem to reduce stuttering.
