SMG Shake/Spin

Hello - I am new to Dolphin and may very possibly be making a dumb mistake, but I am having some issues with the "shake" while trying to play Super Mario Galaxy 1 w/ an Xbox One Elite 2 controller (if that matters). I have shake as "x" on X, Y, and Z, and it does work, sometimes a bit delayed, but it also just randomly shakes sometimes. EX, when I'm in-game, I will just randomly spin and it is extremely annoying and makes it hard to play. Is something wrong? Thanks.
