Hi guys, first I'd like to compliment you on this awesome emulator! It lets me play most GC games better than on the original system.
I opened this thread because i'm having problems with the framerate at this game, most noticeable with four players in the "Fountain of Dreams" stage with that mirroring water.
When not much is happening the framerate is at solid 60 fps, but once there are many effects on the screen it drops to 40 fps and sometimes even down to 30 fps when very many things are going on at the same time.
I'm running it at 4x internal resolution and 1080p output. I had it running at 1x internal and the issues were the same. I went through d9 d11 and open gl backend and it's still the same every time.
It really doesn't matter if it's 1x internal resolution on d9 or 4x internal on opengl with 16xAA.
What DOES help is switching from LLE to HLE, however it doesn't completely solve to problem and leads to occasional soundbugs.
I'm using the Dolphin 3.5 stable build.
Subjectively it seems to me like it slows down when there are many sound effects overlapping, but i can't tell if that is really the issue.
All the other games are working just fine, no problems whatsoever in Super Monkey Ball or Windwaker.
Do you have any idea what the issue is? Should i use some new 3.5 build perhaps?
