Yeah, I kinda phrased that inaccurately. I know Dolphin still has all the data of what the frame should look like, it's just like you said, it doesn't show it. Semantically, rendering sounds to me like it should have more to do with displaying the scene rather than generating one, so I tend to switch what it actually means

Either your settings were WAY off (dual core and idle skipping disabled, efb to ram, real xfb, etc.) or something else way horribly wrong with your system and you ended up fixing it by accident.

Hey NaturalViolence! Well I let an ex friend borrow my laptop for almost a year, and when I got it back, keys were missing, the joints that help the screen was missing. And battery messed up. It looked like someone smashed it on the ground repeatedly and jump on top of it. So everyone thought, I was SOL on that ever working again. Wrong! I knew someone who would fix it and give me Windows 7 for it for $100. And it looked brand new again. Only thing is, the PC hasnt been updated in so long. So I took me like a week or more, to update, and install new hardware and software into the PC. Note I also spend like a few hours on the PC for an entire day. So if you truly say the stuff I got to get my FPS increased doesn't. I'm guessing the software and updates only fixed errors in my PC that I wasn't aware of to make my games perform better.
As for temperture it was around 60 C something last time I checked a few days ago. I seen you talked to someone who had 90 C or higher! I'd be afraid of the motherboard burning out if my temperture was that high!

When it gets to 50, that means you need to slow down, if it gets higher than that, than you need to get off, unless you don't care about your machine. I'd rather frameskip than shorten my PC's lifespan just to play Gamecube games.
