Hi all. I finally got a "modern" PC(upgraded from a AMD Sempron 3000+ 2.0Ghz) and so I couldn't run this program before...now I can! I thought with my processor, that I'd be able to get at least 30FPS the whole time..but that's not the case. I've only tested Twin Snakes and Wind Waker, both get up to 20-25 FPS but than drops to 15 and at times 5-7(wind waker).

Can someone assist me on how I can make it go a bit faster?

Rofl!

Tyson, that PC is FAR from modern. You might be able to open and actually execute a game, but your dream of getting 30FPS all the time will never happen with this setup.

You need a new PC.

I'm sure if it's overclocked to 3.0 it'll work fine. I just don't know how to overclock.

Dunno how accurate this is, but check out my Google-Fu!

It's usually the same process for most CPUs. Go to the BIOS, find the correct options, change the correct options, and test it.

Overclocking will only help you if you can barely run the game fullspeed (ie: 55/60fps or so). You, on the other hand, can't even keep your FPS steady, thus it'll be a futile effort.
Feel free to try it out, but don't expect a miracle.

Thanks a lot for this. I'll test it when I'm not feeling lazy lol, just went in and added some things so I'm tired, haha.

Poor guy, he's so confused. You just traded a worthless PC for a crappy PC. Next time doing some research would benefit you greatly.
Asus Laptop: K53TA
OS: Windows 7 Home Premium, 64-Bit - SP1
CPU: AMD Llano A6-3400M, Quad-Core, 1.4GHz-2.6GHz (Overclocked)
GPU: AMD Radeon HD6650M, 1GB GDDR3 (Catalyst 13.1)
RAM: Samsung 4GB DDR3-1333

It isn't crappy at all. Just because your PC appears to be better than mine, doesn't mean mine is crap. The PC itself is made from things from back in 2009, so it's not a big deal. I'm able to play the gamecube games to point of enjoying them, and that's what counts.

Because you have a better PC than me doesn't mean you can just call mine crap. The PC itself is expensive, I was lucky that I got it in exchange for a PS2 and PSP, so I'm not pissed at all.

Yes, it is.

You're right, my PC has nothing to do with anything. We're talking about your PC and how you said you just upgraded to something good when you didn't.

You don't have to give me dates and prices, I'm looking at the specs, they're crap.

I'm not trying to be harsh here, but you have no clue about what you're saying. I understand you just got the PC and you're happy and it's new to you, but it's still not good enough. That's why everything is still running slow and that's why you're here posting about it, because it's crap.

PC prejudice, it's a terrible thing... Undecided

But like you said, as long as you're happy with what you have. Though I doubt you could, it'd be a pretty sweet deal if you're capable of emulating your old PS2 and PSP games too.
