Games? Dolphin builds used? Don´t expect that 2500K to perform well on actual builds.

I wrote this once, but I´ll write it down here again (and more detailed, too): DON´T look for YT Dolphin tutorials (nor gameplays), those people all use OLD builds that are NOT LONGER supported. Due to this fact, this is why you see a Phenom CPU running any demanding game at fullspeed (and even using old builds it has lots of drops, but whatever...).
