I am only getting 5 fps on Muramasa: The Demon Blade. I have played with the specs a little but no improvement. I also been playing Xenoblade at 80 fps if that has any relation. Could anyone give me any suggestions or assistance it will be much appreciated.

I am using Dolphin 4.0-4835

My computer spec

AMD FX-8350 @ 4.01 Ghz
16 GB of DDR3 RAM
Windows 8.1
ATI Radeon 6970 Sapphire Graphics Card 2GB

Post your Dolphin settings as screenshots. Make sure you haven't done anything silly like accidentally set the Framelimit to 5 instead of something else.

Set full screen resolution to auto, and then change the it from auto to a number, your GPU may be bottle necking. Try 1 and then go up from there.
Also switch from LLE to HLE audio.

Thank you I tried that but it is still doing 5 fps soon as I hit the title screen and beyond. Do you think it could be the current revision of Dolphin causing it?

Try newer versions and see if the problem still happens.

I'm having the same issue with Dolphin 4.0-4843. I tried Dolphin 4.0-4905 but it did not solve the problem.

Same as Burrito boy, I can actually run every other game I've tried at 1920-1080 with full AA and internal resolution above 6x, but Muramasa is running 1 - 5 fps starting at the "don't hit people with your wiimote" screen. I've switched around every setting I can think of, but I can only add another 2 or 3 fps no matter what I do.

I'm on Windows 7 x64
Intel i7 930 @ 2.8 Ghz
12 GB RAM
ATI 5800 Series Video Card

Yes i've downloaded new versions and I haven't had any improvement with FPS. I'm not sure how to tell if it is bottle necking my GPU. I think my process is fast enough but do you think this game will max out a FX 8350. If it does maybe its time to go jump on the intel bandwagon lol

It looks like Bounding Box is getting activated and maxing out certain older Radeons, namely the HD 5xxx and 6xxx (and maybe even 7xxx?) radeons. I think the best thing to do is actually wait right now until we find a solution, as bounding box isn't needed in this title.

Personally i hope bounding box is just enabled in a per game basis like it was before, there was all kind of trouble since the move to make it a global enabled option for all games.
