Slippi vs Dolphin

Hey gang,

I play supersmash brothers melee online using slippi and the emulation works great, everything runs at the full speed. Yet when i try to play my other gamecube games they barely run at half speed, and everything is laggy.

What would be the reason for this?

Which other games have you tried? Melee is well-known for having relatively low system requirements.

If you're currently using Dolphin 5.0, please try a beta or development version instead. Especially on macOS, I think the new Vulkan backend will help you gain performance.
