Hi,

Haven't played the game yet, but know that there exists a patch that can fix a glitch that can occur on a saved game or something.

My question is, how do you use this on Dolphin?
Can't find any info at all, i know that it's a Channel and that it patches the save file, that's it.
I just want it cause if i happen to break it, i can fix itSmile

(I don't want to know about the game glitch etc, no spoilers pls;P).

Thanks!

I've been wondering about this too. I used to have it on my real Wii, but I cleared the data before I extracted my NAND.

If you manage to get a NAND dump of a Wii which have the channel installed or if you find the WAD of the channel somewhere, it should work normally in Dolphin. Anyway, I wouldn't be too concerned if I were you. There's a point in the game where you have to do three tasks, in any order, the save glitch is triggered on that part only if you do those tasks in a very specific, non standard order as far as I remember. In other words, while doing the, let's call "main quest", follow it linearly and you should never trigger the glitch...

So, I redownloaded this on my Wii and transferred it to Dolphin. The channel runs fine, but it needs an internet connection (as a Wii) to apply the patch. I'm running it from the system menu. Is there a way in Dolphin to have the Wii think it has a valid internet connection? I set up internet connection as Wired in the Dolphin Wii System settings, but it doesn't work.

Do you have a save file that has become stuck because of the bug?

No, I'm only in the second ground area, so not very far in the game. Mainly doing this to see if it can be done. I've read about how to avoid the game breaking glitch, so I'm not worried about triggering the bug.

Just wana say that i completed the game, read about the Glitch, as i thought it had it (got some errors but it was just cause i ran out of space).
I did the exact opposite to what was needed for the Glitch luckily enough.

You can of course continue to write about the patch, just wanted to say my thing as i started this topicSmile

Just to update everyone who's interested, I've managed to run through the Wii Network Guide to further test this out. I now have a working Wii internet connection in Dolphin, but the patch wad doesn't work. It appears to require working access to the Wii Shop Channel to download extra files (it even says that if you ever delete the Wii Shop Channel after patching, your Zelda save will be deleted as well). Since Wii Shop Channel doesn't work in Dolphin, all I get is an error message. So no go on this.
