Thanks
Kyo

I have it working now. Another issue that i'm experiencing is that using the provided gecko code for disabling the DOF effects, causes certain cutscenes and areas (such as getting the goddess sword as well as entering the knight academy) to glitch out as shown be a previous post (the one with a link to pictures of the knight academy and a bow). Is there any way to fix this or am I sol?

I really am not sure what is going on with that. The worst I've had is some extreme blurriness but I'm not sure why either of these things are happening and if there is going to be a solid workaround for the DOF.

i just finished the game using the Texture Pack and the DOF Hack provided by the Zariel and Ellie.

the HD textures looks just great, it gaves the game a real HD feeling thanks to the higher resolution and the cartoony graphics. it was always a pleasure to visit the Skyloft and the forest where are the most HD Textures right now, and i totally missed them at the Vulcano and the Desert... but sometimes there was even some HD Textures at the Vulcano and the Desert, but not that much unfortunately.

The DOF Hack is in my opinion at totally must have, it make the overall look of the game alot better, just love it! but it has indeed some problems, but there are some ways to get around the problems.

what you can do about the missing HUD when aiming is to keep the wii remote 1 sec. still and than the HUD is coming back... at least that "trick" worked with the Ishiiruka Dolphin Version.

the only time the DOF Hack was a real problem is in the Lanayru Desert when using a Timeshift Stone. When hitting the stone the screen turns a short time black and than the Timeshift Stone effect which is changing time comes... and in some rooms where you need to carry a Timeshift Stone everthing is black. Oh and the Map is not working right in the Desert temple, but you need it to cross the sand in some place, so i highly recommend to turn off the DOF Hack when you are in Lanayru Desert.

i used to play the game on my TV and my TV has a TruMotion function which makes the FPS alot smoother so it feels like almost 60fps with some stutters sometime but that was totally ok! ohh and i didnt had a input lag so it worked great for me, just a side info =)

@Zariel Oak: are you and Ellie still working on the HD Texture Project? i would really love to see more, but the last update is already 1 year ago and its pretty quiet around here... anyway, thank you both for your awesome work, it was a pleasure to play the game after 6 years in HD and in 60fps (thanks to my TV), but i still would love to see the new textures with new depth mention on your website with the last update, the doors at the sealed ground already looks great, i think these already used depth mention.

Hey there!
Sorry about not being active but I've tried to contact Ellie many times over almost a year and nothing really has made it through to her sadly.
Last I heard from her, she had textures we haven't yet implemented so when I get them I'll be packaging them up and updating the site.

Hello there, awesome texture pack !

But i guess the shader don't work for the 3.0 version of Dolphin, am i wrong ? 'cause the game look good with the texture pack without the shader i think i loose something.
With this version of Dolphin if i try rename ReShade64.dll to dxgi.dll Dolphin will crash if i launch a game. I think the shader are not compatible with Dolphin 3.0 and moreso they are buggy in this version, see the screen :

Spoiler: (Show Spoiler)
When i hit the stone to come back in time the other texture juste blackout and if the stone is moving all the texture BUG AS HELL

3.0 is not supported. Anything older than 5.0 is unsupported on the forum. Don't use 3.0 -- unless you want a version full of bugs.

I see...
I'm using the 3.0 because of the Wii motion+. With the 3.0 you can somewhat use a gamepad to play Skyward Sword, makin' fun in another way. ( And i don't have my Wiimote at home.. )

But in the latest build, the Wii motion+ option is not available anymore. wich is a shame.

THank you for the REALLY QUICK answer.

Question. i'm using the pack right now, the only thing i prefer the original characters eyes art, would you know which files i need to delete in the pack to stick to just that?  Also can anyone point me to what the best solution right now is for which DOF hack to use and with what shaders? much appreciated. really unfortunate the project got halted, the texture artist did amazing work in retaining the artistic style yet upgrading the quality of it, not many texture artists have that sense of artistic creativity.

I'm playing through Skyward Sword for the first time, and your texture pack is really great. I have a couple comments/questions. (Note: I've gotten through Skyview Temple and a couple side quests so far. Will be heading to Eldin Volcano next.)

I tried increasing the depth of field with the gecko code, but that resulted in the weird blurry rendering and border glitches inside the Knight Academy. I switched to the original (non-gecko) hack, and it looks fine so far. Does the original DOF hack create issues elsewhere in the game? I'm fine with disabling the hack temporarily to get through parts of the game, but I need to know when or where to do it. (This being my first time playing the game, I won't necessarily know if something that looks strange is supposed to be that way or not.)

Second issue: The SweetFX settings are NOT working correctly for me. In particular, the Cineon DPX configuration results in an oversaturated, overly-cyan image with completely blown highlights. The clouds in the sky lose all detail and are rendered as mushy white blobs. This can't be what was intended -- it doesn't match the screen shots I've seen here and elsewhere. I've downloaded the SweetFX shader settings twice, thinking I must have gotten the wrong one the first time. But it's still the same. I have to disable SweetFX or run with heavily modified settings I came up with myself.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
